"I am a missionary pastor. My husband and I set out to preach using a loudspeaker throughout the streets in the Cardenista neighborhood, handing out Scripture booklets to all who allowed us to approach them. At some point, a woman allowed us to speak to her about the plan of salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ. We gave her the WMP Scripture booklet “Praise the Lord”, and we explained to her why we should praise the Lord. She told us that her husband abandoned her and her small children, which frustrated her greatly. What little she had been taught about God was not enough for her to retain her faith. She recognized that moving away from God was the worst error in her life and asked God for forgiveness. After talking and sharing words of hope for her life, she called her daughter over to listen. They both received Christ in their hearts as their Savior. We continue sharing the Word and praying together with them. With Christ in her heart, she now feels peace, hope, and a great desire to live as much as God allows, walking and trusting only in Him." -Abigail M., Mexico

Along the US/Mexico border, many WMP distributors are sharing with pastors in Mexico and meeting people coming across the border or waiting in groups on one side or the other. Here people are looking. Here God seeks. The love of Jesus is shared by caring for physical needs as well as providing words of truth and hope. Many years ago, a man felt called to Mexico but was unsure just how to proceed. He began by crossing the border day after day, often just walking and giving out World Missionary Press Scripture booklets. Then he moved into Mexico and began sharing the booklets wherever he could. Year by year the opportunities grew as pastors realized there was a source for reliable, Bible-based literature that could help their own congregations reach their communities. Over the years millions of booklets have been received and shared through this man that at one time carried a single box of booklets across the border on foot. Praise God for all He is doing to reach the people of Mexico! "My life was in hell when my husband drank,” said Anita. “There was nothing but physical aggression and he did not provide for our home.” Anita saw no way out of the continuing cycle of hopelessness and despair. But God saw the need of this family in Mexico and sent visitors to their door who brought the powerful Word of God into their home. Joyfully, Anita and her husband Francisco accepted the gift of God’s grace and salvation, bringing peace and new life. “Now that Jesus Christ is in control of my home,” said Anita, “I now know what it means to have peace. My husband treats me well and provides for our needs; before he did not have work. I thank my heavenly Father for the blessing we have received and, as the Word says, ‘As for me and my family, we shall serve Jehovah.’ ” In Mexico, a ministry to the women in many communities and churches was limited when the border with the USA was closed to non-essential traffic and a WMP distributor was unable to get many of the supplies and booklets to the pastors and churches. Undaunted, she found a hand cart which she loaded with 10-pound boxes of WMP Scripture booklets, and walked across the border regularly as allowed to keep the supplies flowing. COVID-19 has NOT stopped the Gospel from reaching hearts and changing lives! Pastor Abelino was burdened to carry the gospel of Jesus Christ into the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico, with the support of Scripture booklets from World Missionary Press. The church he pastored faced challenges, as the people of the community refused to listen to the Word of God! But they prayed and fasted. Then something happened! Pastor Abelino received a phone call asking for prayer for a sick person who was paralyzed. He went to that community and began to pray for the sick person. The Lord healed her! He was now able to share the Word of God with the whole family, who received the Lord as Savior. Carrying Scripture booklets from World Missionary Press, fellow workers began sharing the gospel house to house. They were able to baptize a group of new believers who continue to be discipled. These are the first fruits of the passion and prayer to reach this area for Christ, seeing souls place their faith in Jesus, renounce the world, and be baptized. The Scripture booklets and Bible studies support them in carrying out the Great Commission in southern Mexico. "Last April we received the materials to evangelize our neighborhood and surrounding streets. We have distributed them and several persons have received the Lord in their hearts. Six were discipled and four were baptized. This is all due to the fact that it is God who blesses the WMP booklets that EHC Mexico delivers to our Church. These Scripture booklets have been a great tool to accomplish the will of God to spread His Word among our people."
-Abraham G., Mexico "Why did I go? After seeing & praying for the needs of the people in the caravan, I told the Lord that if doors opened for me to go and share hope with them, I would go. So with this burden also falling on others, through prayer and the Lord touching two other men's hearts, doors opened. In five days, we shared hope verbally with over 500 people, while distributing over 1,000 Bibles and 1,500 Scripture booklets. God is true to his Word. He did it all. Each of us also spent less than $350.00. God bless World Missionary Press for all their support." -Joel W., U.S.A. “This booklet, Help From Above, came to me in a time of my life when I was looking for the Lord. I was thirsty and hungry and this booklet helped me to find the Lord. I tied my life to this message. Then I looked for a Christian church but it was this message that lead me to the Lord. The Word of God is confirmed in Psalms 107:20 which says: 'He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions'. This promise was accomplished in my life because God not only healed me but also delivered me from ruin. For this I thank God for His Word, because His Word is hope to me as it is for millions of people, and there is hope for Mexico. May God bless you. It was my pleasure to greet you through this means.” -Julio S., Mexico EHC Mexico's National Director, Gloria Silva Lopez would like to thank every WMP Donor who is making it possible to reach every home in Mexico! Amazing things are happening as EHC teams share the Gospel from house-to-house, on the streets, in places where drug abuse and crime rates are high, and in strategic places where people, like every one of us, are in desperate need of Jesus!
Gloria Silva Lopez of Every Home for Christ in Mexico shares about her husband Epi being kidnapped, who told his captors about Jesus and the treasure in the back of his van (Scripture booklets).
You can help impact millions in Mexico for eternity! World Missionary Press is teamed with Mexico Every Home for Christ in reaching every family in Mexico with the good news of the Gospel. This effort to reach every home began in 2008, with a projected completion by the end of December, 2018. |
