A Cry From Kenya
Pictured above is Pastor Solomon Otieno from Kenya. I recently interviewed him, but the internet connection would not allow for a video that we could feature. Therefore, I am filling you in on my wonderful conversation with this precious brother.
Like so many people in Africa, he is working diligently to spread the Gospel with every tool at his disposal. His ministry is multi-faceted and includes evangelism, discipleship ministries, church planting, leadership building, Bible college ministries, meeting the needs of orphans, and so much more.
While the Lord is blessing and multiplying their "five loaves and two fishes", the people of Africa desperately need more Scripture materials. So many people have never heard the Name of Jesus, while others could have their spiritual growth "fast-tracked" by possessing just one WMP Scripture booklet or Bible Study!
Raising people's awareness of precious laborers, like Pastor Solomon, and appealing to them for prayer and financial support so that World Missionary Press can increase our production are some of the most important things that you can do as a WMP Ambassador.
We are extremely thankful for all of you and deeply appreciate all that our Father is accomplishing through you!

Community Wellness Fair
“My youth group at the First Haitian United Methodist Church in Salisbury, MD will be hosting an Empowerment Community Wellness Fair. The event is geared towards the Haitian community of the Delmarva peninsula. There will be multiple vendors present, such as local hospitals, clinics, colleges and universities, and the local police and fire departments. We plan to use the booklets to assist with evangelism throughout the event. We have a team of volunteers who will be evangelizing and these booklets can serve as good tools for them.”

Asylum Seeker Ministry
“I volunteer packing travel bags for Casa Alitas, who helps asylum seekers from Guatemala and Honduras get to their destinations. I put a Spanish booklet in each bag. Last Saturday alone, there were 400 people being cared for, but I did not pack all of their bags. I think that all of these requested booklets will be used within two months.”

Addiction Recovery Ministry
“My small group from church has started meeting one evening a week with the ladies in an addition recovery facility for mothers and pregnant women which recently opened here in our town. The ladies have no access to television or telephones and they don’t have a lot of reading material. They have expressed a need for spiritual/Christian material because they are new to faith (or hopefully soon coming into faith!) and they don’t know where to start. We are pooling resources to get Bibles and hygiene kits for them and I thought your booklets would be a nice addition to the gift bags. Thank you so much for offering these. I heard about WMP from a coworker and I think your booklets are great!"

WMP Coloring Book Ministry
“We will distribute these booklets to public school children who do not have Bibles and know very little about the Gospel. They will receive their booklet during their Christian Released Time Education which is held once a week and upheld by Supreme Court decision, Zorach vs. Clauson. This weekly class is the only Bible study any of these children have.”
