Before l share this spiritual meal purposely for our spiritual nourishment today, l would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank World Missionary Press for the scripture booklets through brother Thomas Faunce that always do us wonders enabling us to reach out to folks in Africa and across other borders with the true Word of Hope, well simplified, summarized in different languages, and very rich in the Word of GOD.
The Scripture booklets are easy to read, pocket size friendly, easy to move with either on transit reflecting on the Word of GOD and above all very great reading material for spiritual nourishment in the daily life of each mankind. Blessings to the entire team at World Missionary Press and as it goes, we all deserve to serve the LORD no matter where we come from, our color, size, age, tribe, nation, name it. The bottom line is we all need GOD. And with World Missionary Press, job well done for your impact is always felt across the world in making it a point that the Word of GOD reach people at their door steps! Amen Therefore, since we all belong to GOD, we always need to be filled with the Light of His Presence not simply for just self-pleasures but for the glorification of His Name here on earth and in heaven. John 8:12 “Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “l am the Light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” (NLT) For Christ gave up everything by living as a man sacrificing himself for the sake of our sins so as to set us free. That alone communicates volumes in regards to the love Christ has for us all. We just don't need to disappoint GOD at any one time. 1st Peter 3:18 “Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to GOD. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit.”(NLT) Therefore, there is nothing we can hold back away from the LORD for He knows us more than even we know ourselves. So let’s move on and share the LORD’s Word to mankind for we are the vessels for His Message to all. Mark 16:15 “And then He told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” (NLT) That said and done, it’s imperative to note that it makes a lot of sense in our lives to consistently live close to GOD, focusing on Him as we walk through each day enjoying His Presence which permeates us with protection, love, care, blessings and many more. -Albert Kisembo, Uganda

“We are on furlough from Costa Rica. I came across a few hundred of these booklets in a closet in our camp in Costa Rica. I read through a booklet and loved how it presented the gospel. We used these booklets in our ministry—evangelism and medical outreach. It was amazing to see God work. We had distributed over 400 booklets to the people of Costa Rica and refugees and saw in a year over 200 people making decisions for Christ. I will use them for evangelism.” -Robert B., Canada
“I am 15 years of age and live in Ghana. I was a bad boy at first, but now I have changed for the better. Before I became a Christian, a friend of mine gave me some of your booklets to read. I became convinced and received Jesus! I am also growing as my friend keeps preaching to me. I believe that your booklets can change people who are sinners for the better, so I want you to send me copies to give out. I promise not to keep them to myself."
-Nana, Ghana, Africa "Good morning and God bless you!!!
May the Lord fill your day with His presence and comfort your heart with the knowledge that your ministry through World Missionary Press continues to impact the lives of thousands in Honduras, one of the most violent, dangerous and corrupt countries in the world. Through your partnership with Harrell Family Missions and the Children's Gift Ministry many thousands of lives have been reached, touched and changed by the word of God and the scripture booklets that you provide for us to distribute in evangelism events throughout the country. This year alone the Back to classes with Jesus program, an out reach of the Children's Gift Ministry, plans to reach its goal of reaching 30,000 children in 200 locations across the country. Through this program children ages 6-12 are invited to a community-wide evangelism event where many will give their hearts to Jesus. Each child receives a backpack filled with school supplies enabling them to get off of the streets, out of the reach of the gangs and back into school.... Because of the partnership we are able to include World Missionary Press scripture booklets into every backpack! We also preach from the booklets having the children open their's and follow us as we read the Scriptures. World Missionary Press scripture booklets are also used to help new Pastors in church planting. They help existing churches in discipleship, men's, women's, youth and children's groups. For many churches this is the only literature that they will have. For some Christians this is the closest they will have to a Bible of their own. The National Youth Department in Honduras requests our partnership regularly as they distribute World Missionary Press Scripture booklets in citywide evangelism events. There's just no telling the tens of thousands of souls that have come to Christ because of World Missionary Press and your partnership with Harrell Family Missions and the Children's Gift Ministry in Honduras - THANK YOU!!!!" “The Lord is doing great things with the booklets you sent us. We have had some wonderful experiences in the Lord this week while passing them out. A young man from Peru had refused a booklet or Bible from Erich for the last two weeks, even though he hung around and watched us. A few days ago he came up to Erich and asked him to pray for him and his wife and children in Peru. Erich prayed for him and then he came to our prayer meeting on Saturday evening. Yesterday he asked if he could pass out booklets with us. He was great among the Spanish speaking people. He even took a Watchtower [pamphlet] out of one man's hand and told him we were the ones with the truth and gave him a booklet. He also spoke to him about Jesus. Another girl came and asked to pass booklets. I thought she was a Christian and said yes. About an hour later she said to me, 'I would like to ask Jesus to come into my heart.' We prayed with her right there and she received Jesus. Last night 20 people showed up at the tent. Most of them were from one family. The mother, 78 years old, had an unbelieving husband. For 18 years he used to beat her and even stabbed her in the face with a knife. She cried out to the Lord that she was going to be killed. The Lord told her she would not die but would be the mother of many nations. She had 10 children. Today many are married to [people of] different nationalities. Some live in Germany, Switzerland, and America. One was a missionary in the Philippines and now has a husband from there. This woman was faithful and is a beautiful woman now because of her endurance. We found out that the guard was too scared to come out of his trailer in the tent last week when the ropes were cut and some of the tent collapsed. Not only are we talking to the Jehovah's Witnesses on the streets; they are even coming to our house. Please pray for Luigie and Johanna. This is the third time he has come to our house. Josh speaks good Italian so is able to communicate for us. He is looking up the false prophecies and will bring us the articles Friday. Both of them were shocked when they admitted to us that they could not understand the Bible but realized that we could. Johanna asked if we were evangelists. When we said yes, she took a booklet of ours from her purse and showed it to us. It had been placed in her mailbox. We had not put it there. Two Muslims accepted the Lord last week. Yesterday a man from the Jordan made arrangements to speak to Erich about Jesus after reading one of the booklets. Please pray for him. He told Erich if he prayed to Jesus he could never go back to the Muslims. The Lord is drawing him; pray that he will follow. “This is our second year here. . . . We give out about 1,500 [tracts] a day. Throngs of people are coming from all over the world to have their sins forgiven by going through the special doors appointed by the Pope. Most of them will take the tracts, and some will talk with us. It's very hot and humid in the city now, so the people are in a hurry. They will put the tracts in their pockets or purse. Some will read them right away, and a few will stop and talk to us. When they do, we are usually able to lead them to the Lord. Yesterday after giving out tracts, we went to McDonalds for lunch. A young medical student shared our table. After a nice conversation about the Lord, she asked Jesus to come into her heart. Please keep us in your prayers as we have many important decisions to make. We are checking on building near the terminal for an outreach center for meetings during the day. We know more people would come to a Bible study that’s close to the terminal."
-Erich G., Rome, Italy “I thought I would write and let you know what happened to two booklets (The Way to God). I’m 63 years old, and my legs are very bad but here goes: • Booklet #1: I was stopped at a red light on a two-lane highway in my new truck . . . when I noticed a man in white work clothes walking toward me. . . . Usually I would have refused to open the window. However, the Holy Spirit let me know right away not to fear this guy, so I lowered the glass. The man simply said, ‘Here.’ Then he handed me a handful of booklets. I’m used to the Holy Spirit using me and others in various ways, so I started to pray right away and the Holy Spirit said to give them away. . . . I went directly to McDonald’s restaurant and talked to the first young man I saw and told him the whole story about how I got the booklets. Then I asked if he wanted to read one, and he said yes. I gave him one and asked him to read the booklet and do exactly what it said. He did. and a couple of days later he came to the Lord for salvation. He said to me that if I did not mind, he would give the booklet to his grandmother, who was dying of cancer, because she was looking for God and did not know how to find Him. She, too, came to the Lord for salvation (through the booklet). • Booklet #2: Several days later I was at the mailbox getting my mail, when suddenly the Holy Spirit simply said, ‘Put one in the mailbox.’ Of course I knew that the Holy Spirit did not mean to put the booklet into the mail box, so I simply placed it on the flag. Well, here is the background about this true story. The mailbox I chose to put the booklet on (the Holy Spirit clearly let me know which one) was my neighbor’s—my worst enemy for the six years that I’ve lived here. He hated the fact that I placed the Ten Commandments on my garage door and in front of my home. I also have a Jesus sign in the front and rear of my yard. My neighbor demanded that I remove the Ten Commandments, but I refused. He cursed me out big time and told me never to step into his yard ever again. I did as he requested, for six years. Well, on Labor Day this year, two weeks after leaving the booklet, I was on my way to pick up my wife from work when I suddenly noticed my neighbor motioning for me to stop my truck and walking toward me. I said to myself, ‘Well, here we go again.’ My neighbor walked up to me and said ‘I wanna apologize to you for the way I’ve treated you all these years.’ Then he did something that made me realize the booklet had worked. He said, ‘Thank you, because I found God,’ and began to cry, hard. He then said, ‘I gotta go!’ I understood! . . . Wow! It’s good to have peace once again, and now my neighbor and I are good friends. He goes out of his way to show kindness towards me. I give God the glory and honor and praise! “Only God knows the effect of all the other [booklets] I’ve given away. I do not have much money, but I would like a few more booklets. The booklet says ‘free’ on them. See what you can do for me. If you cannot help me, that’s okay too. I understand.” -David C., USA
“I visited your plant last fall while in the area and worked a half day. We enjoyed a wonderful tour of the facility. I participate in BCM (Baptist Collegiate Mission) at a local college where 40% are international, degree students. Gospel tracts are given to students who attend weekly meetings at this college. Two students accepted Jesus last school year and others returned to China with a clear understanding of Christianity and considering decisions.”
- Karen W., Georgia, USA “I ordered a few boxes of booklets and had been hitting the streets with a team I led. But, after a while, I got caught up with my own life and stopped evangelizing. So, about half of the booklets were still stacked up in my room. However, the burden to reach the lost recently came back and I started again and have also been running evangelism training sessions that have been EXTREMELY popular. I have now started an evangelism network and by God’s grace the results have been INCREDIBLE. The teams and network are leading people to Christ at a CRAZY rate! When we evangelize, we give each of them one of your booklets and the ones I have are almost finished now. The long summer holidays are fast approaching and we are going full force with evangelism. We are evangelizing everywhere—at work, schools, universities, colleges, on the streets. Also, there are so many events we will be going to and some of us also intend to travel abroad with the booklets in different languages. We have also found that language barriers can be frustrating and make it hard to share the Gospel. But, with booklets in different languages, even if there is a barrier, we will still be able to give them material in their language that can show them their need and point them to Christ. London is very diverse in backgrounds of the population and for many people, English is not their first language. So your ministry is an amazing resource. I know I have requested many booklets in this order, but they will genuinely be used prayerfully and effectively. I have also carefully selected according to which booklets we have seen to be effective with each different community. Thank you so much and may our Father provide for ALL your needs. Much love!”
-Richard A., London, England “I’m an inmate at the Marshall County Jail. Every Sunday a pastor comes to the jail and goes cell-by-cell in our block and hands out little booklets or guides or other forms of study material. Recently, I was given a copy of your Bible Study on Romans. This letter is my only way of saying thank you. The things I’ve learned from that study alone have opened my eyes and my heart in a way I didn’t think possible. Don’t ever think that the work you’re doing isn’t enough or wonder if you’re reaching anybody. I’m going to be behind bars for the next few years and even though it’s an unknown thing to me, I pray that when I get out, I can help you in some way to help reach others. If I had any other way to thank you, I would. Keep up all the good work that helps many just like me.” -Anthony B., Indiana, USA
We went on 21 missions in 6 counties impacting 59 villages and towns in 2 countries, Liberia and Ivory Coast. A mission can last 1-7 days. We did 2 three day conferences. Our projector was used 3 times showing the Jesus film and other Christian training films. We baptized 42 people. Many had the Gospel presented to them and many made confessions of faith asking our Lord for salvation and forgiveness. We printed 9,000 pages of Bible training material. We made 491 manuals.
We had 41 students in our level 1 class and several that listen in. They came from 9 counties which represent over 1/2 of the 16 Liberian counties. We also had students from three countries; Ivory Coast, Nigeria, and Liberia. The students have returned to spread the Gospel as they were taught. Except for Nigeria, we will also be sending our field leaders to them throughout the year to assist them in producing fruit, to encourage, provide material, and continue to train. Exciting news! One of our students comes from an unreached people group of Liberia and is a former Muslim. He comes from the Vai tribe. Joshua Project considers the Vai to be an unreached people group. They are a Muslim mixed with animism stronghold. He is from Grand Capemont County, a county we have never sent a disciple to. He is determined to go back to them and share the gospel!! He and I have agreed that he should stay on our base for at least a month to attend level 4. While here for the month we will continue to train and prepare him. We plan on sending a mission team with him when he returns. Some of these Bible Institute students were unknown to us having been brought by our Lord. But most all of these students have come because our field leaders on motorbikes have made an impact on them while visiting their communities. We have been to 13 of the 16 counties evangelizing, discipling and working towards church plants. Our press shop wall structure should be complete this week. As I type this report our dental team is preparing to pull their first tooth. Exciting!!! Bad teeth bring much pain and even death. This is a huge blessing for the SE of Liberia where hundreds of thousands have had no access to a dentist. Prayer requests: We praise God for an anointed Level 1 class. Pray for our Bible Institute Level 4 class that starts on February 20th, each class lasts 2 weeks. Praise God our dental clinic is in operation. Pray that we can start distributing our water filters. Surely I broke a toe (no X-ray equipment) in a motorbike mishap. Pray for healing. |
