“We are an evangelism ministry located on the boardwalk in Wildwood, (the Jersey shore), with a full-time summer staff of 30. We’ve been developing a ministry to dozens of Muslim internationals from Egypt who work on the boardwalk. We hold a weekly dinner for them throughout the summer, which has provided a context for developing a friendship and sharing the gospel. We will be giving these booklets to them. I learned about WMP from a friend who sent me a booklet and recommended you as a resource for our outreach to the Muslims in Wildwood.” -Christopher B., New Jersey

“I thought I would write and let you know what happened to two booklets (The Way to God). I’m 63 years old, and my legs are very bad but here goes: • Booklet #1: I was stopped at a red light on a two-lane highway in my new truck . . . when I noticed a man in white work clothes walking toward me. . . . Usually I would have refused to open the window. However, the Holy Spirit let me know right away not to fear this guy, so I lowered the glass. The man simply said, ‘Here.’ Then he handed me a handful of booklets. I’m used to the Holy Spirit using me and others in various ways, so I started to pray right away and the Holy Spirit said to give them away. . . . I went directly to McDonald’s restaurant and talked to the first young man I saw and told him the whole story about how I got the booklets. Then I asked if he wanted to read one, and he said yes. I gave him one and asked him to read the booklet and do exactly what it said. He did. and a couple of days later he came to the Lord for salvation. He said to me that if I did not mind, he would give the booklet to his grandmother, who was dying of cancer, because she was looking for God and did not know how to find Him. She, too, came to the Lord for salvation (through the booklet). • Booklet #2: Several days later I was at the mailbox getting my mail, when suddenly the Holy Spirit simply said, ‘Put one in the mailbox.’ Of course I knew that the Holy Spirit did not mean to put the booklet into the mail box, so I simply placed it on the flag. Well, here is the background about this true story. The mailbox I chose to put the booklet on (the Holy Spirit clearly let me know which one) was my neighbor’s—my worst enemy for the six years that I’ve lived here. He hated the fact that I placed the Ten Commandments on my garage door and in front of my home. I also have a Jesus sign in the front and rear of my yard. My neighbor demanded that I remove the Ten Commandments, but I refused. He cursed me out big time and told me never to step into his yard ever again. I did as he requested, for six years. Well, on Labor Day this year, two weeks after leaving the booklet, I was on my way to pick up my wife from work when I suddenly noticed my neighbor motioning for me to stop my truck and walking toward me. I said to myself, ‘Well, here we go again.’ My neighbor walked up to me and said ‘I wanna apologize to you for the way I’ve treated you all these years.’ Then he did something that made me realize the booklet had worked. He said, ‘Thank you, because I found God,’ and began to cry, hard. He then said, ‘I gotta go!’ I understood! . . . Wow! It’s good to have peace once again, and now my neighbor and I are good friends. He goes out of his way to show kindness towards me. I give God the glory and honor and praise! “Only God knows the effect of all the other [booklets] I’ve given away. I do not have much money, but I would like a few more booklets. The booklet says ‘free’ on them. See what you can do for me. If you cannot help me, that’s okay too. I understand.” -David C., USA
“I am 27 years old and I am in prison for the first time in my life. I am serving a 5 ½ year sentence in this prison. I am a new-born child of Jesus Christ. I gave my life to our Lord Jesus Christ a few days ago. I am very happy about the decision I made. It is because of you that I was able to make that decision and give my life to Christ. I want to thank you so much for that. A few weeks ago, my cellmate who went home, left me one of your Scripture booklets, called Help From Above. It’s in that same booklet that I found your contact. Not only did this booklet save my life but it also taught me about being faithful, loving, and caring to the ones I love. So, today in this letter, I want to ask if you can send me some more different booklets, please? I also wanted to ask you for help, the type of help that will help me keep doing God’s work and keep building my relationship with Christ, family, friends, and loved ones. I am eager not only to learn but to live a faithful, merciful, loving, courageous, and joyful life for God and the people around me. So, I want to ask if you can please send me any type of free resources that you might have or can offer to me that will help me keep my relationship with God and my family and friends and people I come across through my days of living. So, I wanted to see if you can please send me (that is, if you have 14) free Bible lessons, life-changing booklets, Bible studies, sermons, literature, correspondence courses, even daily devotions of any kind, please. I would also like to ask if you will send me more of your Scripture booklets other than the one I have. Please keep me in your prayers and keep in contact with me. Thank you for receiving and reading my letter. I send you, and your family, my blessings. I hope that God continues to keep blessing you guys. Thanks and God bless.” -Maximino M., Jessup, MD (U.S.A.)
“I’m an inmate at the Marshall County Jail. Every Sunday a pastor comes to the jail and goes cell-by-cell in our block and hands out little booklets or guides or other forms of study material. Recently, I was given a copy of your Bible Study on Romans. This letter is my only way of saying thank you. The things I’ve learned from that study alone have opened my eyes and my heart in a way I didn’t think possible. Don’t ever think that the work you’re doing isn’t enough or wonder if you’re reaching anybody. I’m going to be behind bars for the next few years and even though it’s an unknown thing to me, I pray that when I get out, I can help you in some way to help reach others. If I had any other way to thank you, I would. Keep up all the good work that helps many just like me.” -Anthony B., Indiana, USA
