“I was absolutely delighted to receive the coloring books. They are so wonderful and beautiful and present the Gospel in simple and easy-to-understand words. Many of their parents read with their children so they can understand and accept Jesus as Savior. We have many families who are saved and baptized, but who also need to study the Word to grow in Christ. So I’m very happy to give their children the coloring books but now there are more children so I need thirty more coloring books. Also, Scripture Memory Books are perfect for the young people and their parents. It’s great! I think I have enough memorizing books for now. Thank you so much! We are getting more and more Muslims moving here so I could use more The Way to God booklets, but in Farsi language...maybe 50. Though I’m 88 years old, my husband and I pray for your ministry every evening. He is 95 years old. Receiving the booklets makes me feel like jumping up and down and clapping my hands, but I still must hold onto my walker! We love your ministry!" -Pearl P., U.S.A.

“I am a Christian man, 50 years old, in Sweden. My church gives out coffee free to people in the middle of town, Uppsala, almost every weekend. At the same time, we share the gospel about Jesus Christ to people. There are many refugees who have come to Sweden from the Middle East and most them are Muslims. They are often very open to listen to the gospel. I’ve read the booklet, The Way to God, in Swedish and I thought it was very good. I met a Swedish evangelist in Stockholm this spring and we evangelized among the Muslims in a suburb. He had the booklet, The Way to God, in a few languages and I gave it to people who knew the language. I also read it in Swedish and thought it was very good, according to my faith in God. I saw the internet address at the backside of the booklet and searched it with my computer.” -Tobias E., Sweden “We are an evangelism ministry located on the boardwalk in Wildwood, (the Jersey shore), with a full-time summer staff of 30. We’ve been developing a ministry to dozens of Muslim internationals from Egypt who work on the boardwalk. We hold a weekly dinner for them throughout the summer, which has provided a context for developing a friendship and sharing the gospel. We will be giving these booklets to them. I learned about WMP from a friend who sent me a booklet and recommended you as a resource for our outreach to the Muslims in Wildwood.” -Christopher B., New Jersey "I was a Muslim. I found a Satan Versus CHRIST booklet in May of this year (2015). When I read it, I found Christianity is the perfect way to go for everyone on earth. In August I decided to write to you for more booklets so as to help myself [learn]. At the moment, I just want to read all the booklets, one by one, and know more about God." Zach S., South Africa “I have been working with Liberian children whose parents claimed they are Muslim. These parents are not readers and they want to learn to read and write English. Last week one Muslim woman got saved after reading the Word and now she is reading every day. She and I prayed that more Muslim and [other] unbelievers will come to know that Jesus is Lord. So we will use your booklets as guide books for learning English. Thank you for your donation.” Kim-Mai T., Pennsylvania, U.S.A. Before l share this spiritual meal purposely for our spiritual nourishment today, l would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank World Missionary Press for the scripture booklets through brother Thomas Faunce that always do us wonders enabling us to reach out to folks in Africa and across other borders with the true Word of Hope, well simplified, summarized in different languages, and very rich in the Word of GOD.
The Scripture booklets are easy to read, pocket size friendly, easy to move with either on transit reflecting on the Word of GOD and above all very great reading material for spiritual nourishment in the daily life of each mankind. Blessings to the entire team at World Missionary Press and as it goes, we all deserve to serve the LORD no matter where we come from, our color, size, age, tribe, nation, name it. The bottom line is we all need GOD. And with World Missionary Press, job well done for your impact is always felt across the world in making it a point that the Word of GOD reach people at their door steps! Amen Therefore, since we all belong to GOD, we always need to be filled with the Light of His Presence not simply for just self-pleasures but for the glorification of His Name here on earth and in heaven. John 8:12 “Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “l am the Light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” (NLT) For Christ gave up everything by living as a man sacrificing himself for the sake of our sins so as to set us free. That alone communicates volumes in regards to the love Christ has for us all. We just don't need to disappoint GOD at any one time. 1st Peter 3:18 “Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to GOD. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit.”(NLT) Therefore, there is nothing we can hold back away from the LORD for He knows us more than even we know ourselves. So let’s move on and share the LORD’s Word to mankind for we are the vessels for His Message to all. Mark 16:15 “And then He told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” (NLT) That said and done, it’s imperative to note that it makes a lot of sense in our lives to consistently live close to GOD, focusing on Him as we walk through each day enjoying His Presence which permeates us with protection, love, care, blessings and many more. -Albert Kisembo, Uganda “The Lord is doing great things with the booklets you sent us. We have had some wonderful experiences in the Lord this week while passing them out. A young man from Peru had refused a booklet or Bible from Erich for the last two weeks, even though he hung around and watched us. A few days ago he came up to Erich and asked him to pray for him and his wife and children in Peru. Erich prayed for him and then he came to our prayer meeting on Saturday evening. Yesterday he asked if he could pass out booklets with us. He was great among the Spanish speaking people. He even took a Watchtower [pamphlet] out of one man's hand and told him we were the ones with the truth and gave him a booklet. He also spoke to him about Jesus. Another girl came and asked to pass booklets. I thought she was a Christian and said yes. About an hour later she said to me, 'I would like to ask Jesus to come into my heart.' We prayed with her right there and she received Jesus. Last night 20 people showed up at the tent. Most of them were from one family. The mother, 78 years old, had an unbelieving husband. For 18 years he used to beat her and even stabbed her in the face with a knife. She cried out to the Lord that she was going to be killed. The Lord told her she would not die but would be the mother of many nations. She had 10 children. Today many are married to [people of] different nationalities. Some live in Germany, Switzerland, and America. One was a missionary in the Philippines and now has a husband from there. This woman was faithful and is a beautiful woman now because of her endurance. We found out that the guard was too scared to come out of his trailer in the tent last week when the ropes were cut and some of the tent collapsed. Not only are we talking to the Jehovah's Witnesses on the streets; they are even coming to our house. Please pray for Luigie and Johanna. This is the third time he has come to our house. Josh speaks good Italian so is able to communicate for us. He is looking up the false prophecies and will bring us the articles Friday. Both of them were shocked when they admitted to us that they could not understand the Bible but realized that we could. Johanna asked if we were evangelists. When we said yes, she took a booklet of ours from her purse and showed it to us. It had been placed in her mailbox. We had not put it there. Two Muslims accepted the Lord last week. Yesterday a man from the Jordan made arrangements to speak to Erich about Jesus after reading one of the booklets. Please pray for him. He told Erich if he prayed to Jesus he could never go back to the Muslims. The Lord is drawing him; pray that he will follow. “This is our second year here. . . . We give out about 1,500 [tracts] a day. Throngs of people are coming from all over the world to have their sins forgiven by going through the special doors appointed by the Pope. Most of them will take the tracts, and some will talk with us. It's very hot and humid in the city now, so the people are in a hurry. They will put the tracts in their pockets or purse. Some will read them right away, and a few will stop and talk to us. When they do, we are usually able to lead them to the Lord. Yesterday after giving out tracts, we went to McDonalds for lunch. A young medical student shared our table. After a nice conversation about the Lord, she asked Jesus to come into her heart. Please keep us in your prayers as we have many important decisions to make. We are checking on building near the terminal for an outreach center for meetings during the day. We know more people would come to a Bible study that’s close to the terminal."
-Erich G., Rome, Italy We went on 21 missions in 6 counties impacting 59 villages and towns in 2 countries, Liberia and Ivory Coast. A mission can last 1-7 days. We did 2 three day conferences. Our projector was used 3 times showing the Jesus film and other Christian training films. We baptized 42 people. Many had the Gospel presented to them and many made confessions of faith asking our Lord for salvation and forgiveness. We printed 9,000 pages of Bible training material. We made 491 manuals.
We had 41 students in our level 1 class and several that listen in. They came from 9 counties which represent over 1/2 of the 16 Liberian counties. We also had students from three countries; Ivory Coast, Nigeria, and Liberia. The students have returned to spread the Gospel as they were taught. Except for Nigeria, we will also be sending our field leaders to them throughout the year to assist them in producing fruit, to encourage, provide material, and continue to train. Exciting news! One of our students comes from an unreached people group of Liberia and is a former Muslim. He comes from the Vai tribe. Joshua Project considers the Vai to be an unreached people group. They are a Muslim mixed with animism stronghold. He is from Grand Capemont County, a county we have never sent a disciple to. He is determined to go back to them and share the gospel!! He and I have agreed that he should stay on our base for at least a month to attend level 4. While here for the month we will continue to train and prepare him. We plan on sending a mission team with him when he returns. Some of these Bible Institute students were unknown to us having been brought by our Lord. But most all of these students have come because our field leaders on motorbikes have made an impact on them while visiting their communities. We have been to 13 of the 16 counties evangelizing, discipling and working towards church plants. Our press shop wall structure should be complete this week. As I type this report our dental team is preparing to pull their first tooth. Exciting!!! Bad teeth bring much pain and even death. This is a huge blessing for the SE of Liberia where hundreds of thousands have had no access to a dentist. Prayer requests: We praise God for an anointed Level 1 class. Pray for our Bible Institute Level 4 class that starts on February 20th, each class lasts 2 weeks. Praise God our dental clinic is in operation. Pray that we can start distributing our water filters. Surely I broke a toe (no X-ray equipment) in a motorbike mishap. Pray for healing. |
