The growing African population will undoubtedly lead to a growing worldwide influence for African churches. Even now, “sending” churches effectively take the gospel into Europe, US, Asia, and Latin America. Such a growing influence must have a strong foundation in the Word of Truth. Many African pastors and missions continue to look to WMP for the pure Word of God found in the topical Scripture booklets as well as the Bible Study on John. A partnership with Feed the Hungry in Malawi, Uganda, Zimbabwe, and Burundi has put The Way to God booklet and the Bible Study on John into the hands of thousands. Pastors are encouraged. Lives are changed.

By her own testimony, 36-year-old Claudette lived a drug-controlled life of debauchery and delinquency. Unmarried, and with two children to care for, she felt friendless and needy. One day visitors came to her African village. They told her about Jesus and gave her a Scripture booklet. As Claudette realized that only Jesus could forgive her sins and give her His salvation, she received Him as her Savior, deciding to let Him guide her life. Now she says, “I am glad that The Way to God booklet is helping me in my relationship with Christ.” “Many years ago, World Missionary Press printed the New Testament in the Bassari language at our request for the Bassari tribe in Senegal, West Africa. I just wanted you to know that the Bassari tribe in Senegal and Guinea are now 80 percent Christian and are building a Bible school in the bush for themselves. We just wanted to thank you!”

"I am a 36-year-old, single woman with two children. Before accepting Jesus Christ into my heart, I was in debauchery and delinquency. I was also using drugs. Volunteers approached me and began to tell me the good news of Jesus Christ. With the help of my new Christian brothers and sisters, I realized that Jesus is my one true, valiant Friend Who has forgiven my sins and given me salvation! This faithful Friend is now guiding my life and I am especially thankful for World Missionary Press' 'The Way to God' booklet. It is helping me in my relationship with Christ." -Claudette, Rwanda "I was 61 years old and had no idea about Jesus' salvation. I felt that good behavior would lead me to heaven. With the help of God's servants, I accepted the Good News that Jesus loves me and came to save me from my sins! I am now following the Lord Jesus, Who is the Savior of the world, and I am determined to help others by sharing the good news from house to house. I'm so thankful for World Missionary Press Scripture booklets, which are helpful in my relationship with God." -Semigabo, Rwanda "As the young continuously get a chance to hear and get more nurtured in GOD's Word, progressively by the Grace of the Living GOD, there is an assurance of a stable Church tomorrow!
Proverbs 22:6 'Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.' (NLT) Special thanks to World Missionary Press Inch, Frontline Line Ministries and the rest out there, for making it happen for the Kids across the world to get access to the Word in a format that suits their level of understanding." -Kisembo A., Uganda “It is a pleasure to be connected with WMP. I am a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, sending warm wishes from Ghana. I wish to express my gratitude to you. Your booklet, Let’s Praise the Lord! Has really transformed my life and I can’t resist saying a big thank you to God Almighty and a big thank you to WMP. I wish to request more copies of Let’s Praise the Lord, The Amazing Life of Jesus Christ, and any other titles available for evangelism. My distribution strategy is to be located in advantageous places, with friends and fellow ministers of the Gospel, where lots of people gather. It is my joy to express that as I was blessed and impacted by your evangelistic booklet, so the souls I intend to reach through this plan and your assistance will find joy and gladness in the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray my request will be granted. Thank you for your love and care to reach my thirsty soul. God richly bless you.”
-Vanessa Q., Ghana, Africa I had a wonderful conversation today with Roger Walterhouse of Feed the Hungry. He conveyed their great appreciation for the first shipment of our Bible Study on John, part of which went to Malawi. They are beginning to see great results just from this first shipment. He relayed the following incidents.
The FTH team went to an area outside of Blantyre, Malawi where there were many HIV/AIDS victims. FTH had given out the BSJ in this area previously. Roger and his team organized a meeting for follow-up, etc. As the people filed in to the meeting he saw they were carrying the BSJ. He thought they had probably received copies as they entered the building. Instead he discovered that these Bible studies were the ones previously distributed and that each of the attendees brought them because they have no Bible, so this small Bible study serves as their Bible. They were there with their “Bibles”. In a region along the border between Malawi and Mozambique they visited a refugee camp where many Mozambiquans had come due to the recent destruction and devastation from the cyclone. As he and his companion Chuck walked through the camp they saw a man sitting in front of a small thatched hut with a copy of the WMP Bible Study on John which he had received on a previous visit from FTH teams. Chuck stopped to talk to the man, asking him about the book. Like the Ethiopian eunuch from Acts the man replied he needed someone to help him understand what he was reading. As they talked, the man said he was an animist and practiced a traditional religion of the region. Chuck asked if he could tell the man about Jesus, and just as Philip years ago Chuck shared the truth of Jesus Christ from God’s Word. -Email from Helen Williams, WMP's Director of Orders and Distribution Pictured above is Pastor Solomon Otieno from Kenya. I recently interviewed him, but the internet connection would not allow for a video that we could feature. Therefore, I am filling you in on my wonderful conversation with this precious brother. Like so many people in Africa, he is working diligently to spread the Gospel with every tool at his disposal. His ministry is multi-faceted and includes evangelism, discipleship ministries, church planting, leadership building, Bible college ministries, meeting the needs of orphans, and so much more. While the Lord is blessing and multiplying their "five loaves and two fishes", the people of Africa desperately need more Scripture materials. So many people have never heard the Name of Jesus, while others could have their spiritual growth "fast-tracked" by possessing just one WMP Scripture booklet or Bible Study! Raising people's awareness of precious laborers, like Pastor Solomon, and appealing to them for prayer and financial support so that World Missionary Press can increase our production are some of the most important things that you can do as a WMP Ambassador. We are extremely thankful for all of you and deeply appreciate all that our Father is accomplishing through you! Blessings!
